Jake is a lovely blue Greyhound who was born on the 19th February 2011
Jake's Diary
15th February 2013

6th March 2013
We received an email today letting us know that Jake's left foot seems okay now, with no sign of limping after a few days antibiotics.
They say Jake is settling in beautifully. He is still on the lead everywhere they go and they are looking forward to give him his freedom and allow him to run in a small secure place, but they are not quite there yet!
18th May 2013
We heard today that Jake's owners thinks he's such a character, who needs telling off as he jumps up at the kitchen counter! Jake loves to be in front of the fire during the day and as soon as its bed time he goes upstairs and settles down for a good night's sleep. He manages the stairs very well.
Jake's companion is a small parrot who is now flying around the lounge whilst Jake is flat out in front of the fire ignoring the flutter of feathers! His new owner thinks that Jake has settled in!"
Sam and Jake, who came together live not far from each other now, and both families are related so they often go for walks together and visit each other's houses.
