Black Greyhound
Tinker is a small black ex-racing greyhound with a lovely nature who has been living in a kennel with another greyhound. Sadly her companion recently passed away at the age of 15 and Tinker was lonely on her own, so arrangements were made to bring her here so we can find her a new home.
Tinker was born on the 7th October 2007 and weighs 25.6k. She loves children and is okay with other dogs. She may even be cat trainable, but this we will need to check for ourselves

Tinker's Diary
* The branch kennel at the bottom of our garden is where Tinker and the other resident(s) will be for the first day or so until he gets to know the other greyhounds. He has use of our garden and paddock, and once he gets to know the other dogs he will be allowed in the house during the day and all the dogs will then take it in turn to sleep in the house at night, so they become use to sleeping in both the kennel and the house.

Tinker arrived this afternoon.
9th October 2013
As is normal practice Tinker was flead and wormed today.

21st October 2013
This afternoon Tinker's new owner called to collect her and once all the paperwork was complete off she went. Tinker was instantly attracted to her new owner and her new owner to her, so we hope they will have a long and happy life together.

18th December 2014
We received a Christmas card today from Tinker and her owner letting us know that Tinker is doing fine.
During the summer / autumn Tinker's owner became unwell and a friend of hers asked if we could look after Tinker for a while. Sadly we were overloaded with dogs at the time and I really felt I couldn't manage another dog along with running the bed and breakfast as well. I felt awful about it, and it was suggested she may stay with someone else if they would have her. From the note in the Christmas card it seems Tinker went into kennels for a while during her owner's stay in hospital.
Now she is walked by a dog walker until her owner fully recovers. Apparently, Tinker isn't too keen on going with the dog walker, but once she's out she enjoys it. She also likes the other dogs the dog walker takes with her so all seems fine.
12th December 2015
We received a Christmas card today from Tinker's owner saying she is doing fine and in good health, but is hating all this rain we've been having the past few weeks.
