Guy - a brief history

Guy - Black Greyhound
Guy is a handsome black ex-racing greyhound who was born on the 1st September 2012 and raced until he was 2 years old, then he broke his hock. This was pinned and all is okay now, strong enough to run around retired, but not to race again because of the bends on the courses.
Guy is house trained, neutered, inoculated and microchipped. He is very good with children and other breeds of dogs. A quiet, friendly dog who will make someone a lovely companion

Went to his new home on Thursday 20th August 2015.
Guy's Diary
* The branch kennel at the bottom of our garden is where Guy and the other resident(s) will be for the first day or so until he gets to know the other greyhounds. He has use of our garden and paddock, and once he gets to know the other dogs he will be allowed in the house during the day and all the dogs will then take it in turn to sleep in the house at night, so they become use to sleeping in both the kennel and the house.

20th August 2015
This afternoon Guy's new owner arrived to complete the adoption paperwork and take him home with her. He gave her a lovely greeting when she arrived and happily walked off to her car on the way to his new home where we hope he will have a long and happy life.
4th February 2016
We heard today via email from Guy's owner who says "Guy is absolutely great, he's so good with the children and he's my best friend. We have a good long walk every day and we've started doing some jogging too. He's keeping me fit!
