Greyhounds in long-term fosterer homes:

CAN YOU TEMPORARILY FOSTER A GREYHOUND FOR US?

Fosterers are a valuable part of greyhound rescue in that another greyhound is living life away from the kennels and taking the first steps towards getting used to the family way of life. If you live in the South Lakes or the surrounding area and would like to foster a greyhound until we can find him or her a new home.
please contact Jenny or Stuart
T: 015395 52394 or email us for more information

DOG WALKING
Would you like to walk a Greyhound?
Volunteers offering to take a Greyhound for a walk, an afternoon out or a stop-over play a very important role here at the branch.
please contact Jenny or Stuart T: 015395 52394 or email us for more information and to see how you can help.

Mojo is a black ex-racing greyhound who was born on the 11th July 2013 and weighs 28.5k. He has a very placid nature, is fine with children and used to seeing his ex-owner / trainer's small dogs around the kennels.
Mojo is house trained, neutered, inoculated and microchipped. He's a super dog with a lovely calm and placid nature, loves playing with his toys especially his tennis balls which he throws in the air to catch, walks lovely on the lead and travels well in a car.

Went to his forever home with Rory on Sunday 29th May 2016

Mojo's Diary
17th April 2016

21st April 2016
Mojo went to the vets today to be neutered and weighed in at 28.5k. All went well with his operation and we collected him late afternoon. Back home he was feeling very sorry for himself and slept most of the evening on the large coolaroo bed in the living room.
22nd April 2016
This morning Mojo gave me a lovely welcome when I got up, went out with the others and ate a larger than normal breakfast to make up for yesterday when he had very little.
27th May 2016
This morning Mojo went to the vets for his second inoculation where he weighed in at 27.1 kg.
